Kindling Creativity – New Zealand Reflection

Kindling Creativity is a blog that profiles how practitioners worldwide are creating a stimulating environment for their learners.

The two bloggers met during their Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Bath Spa University 2013-14. Victoria had just completed her Dance and Learning and Teaching undergraduate degree at Middlesex, whilst Hayley studied English Literature with Cultural Studies at Bath Spa University, both gaining with a 2.2 award classification. Both Victoria and Hayley took placements at St. Werburgh’s Park Nursery School which laid the foundations for their research project.

Most of the schools focus on an inquiry and project-based approach to learning. They were led by inspirational and confident headteachers who were passionate about making a change in education.
