Orange Room children have started to tell their stories for Story Squares. They are thinking about their favourite characters and how they might behave or familiar story book characters to be part of their stories. Returning children from last year are being excellent role models for our new children who are rapidly learning about the rules and conventions of this exciting opportunity to act out in front of the whole class! Parents are welcome to join us every Wednesday at 11.40am to be the audience.
“Children have a need to act out stories, to put their play onto a pretend stage so they can really listen to the characters and watch them speaking their own words—to see what works and what doesn’t work.” – Vivian Gussin Paley
