Newsletter – January 2017

Our January newsletter is now available to download. Find out about the latest reminders, staffing updates and much more!

This term is a great term for our children! Classes really settle down and become individual communities and children begin to develop new skills and grow in confidence. Exciting things are happening across the school from Chinese cooking to solving the problem of which materials stop water coming through the roof onto the animals! We continue to plan for the outside despite the cold weather and would encourage you to label your child’s clothes and provide us with wellington boots. Children love to explore outside and we plan to take them into our Wildlife Area to begin the Forest Skills work.

Our school, like many others in the city and the country, is working hard to manage a reduced budget. The Governors are supporting me as Head to lead the school forward through this difficult time and I want to reassure you that the care and education of your child stays our top priority.
