Happy New Year to all in our school community! This term we welcome new children into all six classes. This term is the term in which the community within each class is really established and children’s learning takes off! We were pleased to be asked to showcase our Inclusion and Special Needs practice as part of a Local Government Review commissioned by Bristol City Council, the full report should be out in the next few weeks.
Over the Christmas holidays I have taken the decision to retire this summer. After 16 years at St. Werburgh’s it is time for someone else to take over with fresh ideas and enthusiasm. The school Governors have organised a timeline for the recruitment process in the hope we can appoint a replacement before the Easter holidays. I have both daughters getting married this summer and so will be kept busy, I will also continue to inspect for Ofsted.
