We are delighted to let you know that following an Ofsted inspection on the 20th November 2018, we have now received the Ofsted report which confirms that the school continues to be ‘good’.
The inspector said “The school’s commitment to ‘building foundations for learning together’ underpins all that we do, that staff know the needs of children and families extremely well and that staff share best practice”. The report says that we evaluate assessments carefully, work to identify gaps in learning and that we make sure that children progress well. The report also confirms that the well-being and safety of children is the highest priority for the school and that we take great care to make sure children are safe when learning and that it is a safe environment for them to learn in. The report recommends two areas for further development which had already been recognised prior to the visit and as such are addressed in this year’s School Improvement Plan.
We would like to thank all children, parents/carers, families, staff and governors for their hard work and support in achieving such a positive report and we look forward to continuing working together in order to achieve the very best outcomes for our children and families.
