This week we had Police Officer Maz visit our setting. She was really friendly and we were excited to meet a real life community hero.
PO Maz showed us her uniform and helmets as well as her equipment including her radio, body-camera and hand cuffs. We all had a go at trying something on and investigating it further. Statistics show that positive experience with the policy during a child’s early years can directly impact their involvement with crime as they grow into adults. We are keep to open the children’s eyes further to our community and support them to make positive relationships with all kinds of people. These life-long skills include building confidence and making a positive contribution to society.
