Newsletter – Term 6 – July 2019

It’s almost the end of another fabulous year at St Werburgh’s Park Nursery School! We have faced some challenges this year in terms of budget cuts but despite this staff have worked exceptionally hard to ensure that the children continue to have a rich experience. We have all loved watching them grow and develop, becoming independent learners and problem solvers!

Reflecting back over the last year, the highlights for me have been the chicks hatching, “Handa’s Surprise” appearing along the corridor and the amazing art the children produced in response to the “The Dot”. A personal highlight was visiting the Houses of Commons and delivering the petition that you all signed to Downing Street. Please keep signing petitions and talking to your friends about this, we need to keep fighting possible Nursery School closures.

Finally, I would really like to say a heartfelt thank you for all the support we receive from you. We wish those moving
on best wishes and to those returning, see you next year!
