It is so fabulous to see the signs of Spring returning, despite all the wind and rain we have had lately. The children, of course, seem unperturbed by the weather and have been enjoying our finally completed new sand pit! I can’t wait for the sunshine though, as the sand pit is so large, it will feel a bit like being on the beach! Talking of beaches, we arereally excited to be planning for our whole school trip to Weston Super Mare again. After the success of last year, we are doing the same again. We really hope you will join us.
Thank you for the donations of bulbs and seeds. You can see that we are now appealing for pots/planters to put them in. These will help to make Mel’s Reflection garden look really great. We have ordered the bark for this area and with the help of volunteers, this will go in soon. It won’t be long before the space is ready for children to enjoy. The next plan is to get the allotment up and running again. I am organising a community clear up day on Saturday 14th March, 10am-12pm. It would be great if you could spare an hour to help move some rubbish and start to dig the soil over. We also hope to lay a small brick path through the middle. There will be a chance to sign up to help after half term.
Your help will be really appreciated….and there will be cake! Thank you!
