Please be advised that the health and well-being of children, families and staff during the current situation is our utmost priority and as such we are closely monitoring daily updates from the DFE and Public Health England.
In line with Public Health advice, we would ask that until further notice if you or your child has, however mild, a temperature or cough that your child stays at home for a period of at least seven days. If necessary please telephone NHS 111 for advice or if there is no improvement in the condition.
We do not currently have any confirmed cases of the virus in school but if we do we will be taking advice from Public Health England.
In the event that we should have staff shortages, we will look at this on a room by room basis and if necessary we may have to close those rooms where we have insufficient staff. We are aware that this would be inconvenient for working parents and hope that we don’t have to do this but would ask that you plan for the possibility of this happening over the course of the next few months. If we do have to close any rooms we will publish this on the website as soon as we know but we may not be able to give you notice of this until you arrive on site.
It would help us to contact you if we have your up-to-date telephone numbers and email addresses on file and would, therefore, be grateful if you can give this information to the office (not the classroom) or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
If your child is away from school for any reason please telephone us on 0117 9030323 as soon as the absence starts.
