We hope that you and your families are keeping well. It is exciting that some lockdown restrictions are easing, I know for some of you this is helping life to improve. However, it is also a time to “stay alert” and keep safe as things change.
We want to say thank you to all of our wonderful families for the support you are continuing to give us. As demands change in your own lives we know that not having your children back at Nursery can be frustrating. We continue to be so appreciative of your kind words of support and understanding at this time.
As you know, we have only been able to offer a few places to the children who are going to school in September. We have had to do this on a “first come first served” basis. We feel lucky that the majority of our families have chosen to keep their children safe at home for the remainder of the school year. Unfortunately, all our spaces are now full.
The decisions we have had to make over the last few weeks have been difficult ones. However, planning for September is well underway. We are feeling positive that all of our returning children, as well as children new to our school, will be able to return in Term 1. The school will continue to look different but we are excited to develop learning opportunities in the “new normal”. We will make sure our families stay as safe as possible as you return to us in the Autumn Term.
We have been working hard to create packs for all of our children. The Transition packs for School Leavers should arrive any day. The transition packs for the children moving up and the returning children will be sent as soon as rooms and staff teams have been confirmed.
We will be ringing our School Leaver families very soon to plan a time for you to collect your child’s Learning Diary and End of Year Report. It will be a great opportunity for your child to come with you to collect them. We will try hard for someone from your child’s class to be there to pass the Diary over to you.
Staff will continue to ring you at home over the next few weeks. We will also continue to upload stories to our YouTube channel.
Take care and stay safe,
