Everything you need to know about Additional Hours – April 2016

 

 

Charges for 3 & 4 year olds in Nursery classrooms.

(FEEE – Free Early Education Entitlement) Children aged 3 & 4 years old are eligible for 15 hours of free nursery education per week. At St Werburgh’s, this is offered over 5 mornings or 5 afternoons.

Additional Hours are available to buy in over and above the funded 15 hours (FEEE) as detailed below. A £150 cash deposit is required to secure your extra sessions. From September 2016 there are a limited number of paid day care sessions available. You will need to meet with our School Business Manager, Jacqui MacFarlane and a minimum of 3 sessions per week must be bought, secured by an Additional Hours Agreement, completed and signed by all parties. Sessions are subject to availability.

 

Fees – From September 2016 are charged at £7.50 per hour

8.00am to 8.45am – Breakfast Club – £6.65 (includes £1 towards the cost of breakfast)
11.45am – 3.30pm – Wraparound – £28.15 (parents/carers to provide a packed lunch)
3.30pm-5.00pm – Afterschool Club – £13.25 (includes £2 towards the cost of tea)

Unfortunately, as a result of continuing increases in costs, the price of Additional Hours/Day Care will increase from £7.50 to £8.00 per hour with effect from the 1st September 2017. Please be assured that we will continue to provide the very highest quality of effective early years provision.

 

Charges for Self-Funded Under 3s in Purple/Red Rooms

8.00am to 8.45am – Breakfast Club – £6.65 (includes £1 towards the cost of breakfast)
8.00am to 11.45am – Morning Core Session – £28.15
8.45am to 11.45am – Morning Session (if sibling is in a nursery class) – £22.50
8.45am to 5.00pm – All Day – £64.00 (parents/carers to provide a packed lunch)
12.30pm – 3.30pm – Afternoon Session (if sibling is in a nursery class) – £22.50
12.30 – 5.00pm – Afternoon Core Session – £35.75 (includes £2 towards the cost of tea)

There is a minimum requirement of buying in 6 core sessions or 3 full days, per week. To find out more about buying in Additional Hours for under 3s, please call the school on 0117 9030323.

 

Variation to Day Care Agreement

Sessions can be changed, if those sessions are available and there are no arrears on the account.  Four weeks’ notice is required to vary sessions/contracts and there is a £20 admin charge.  Please speak to Admin staff for further details.

 

Late Collection Fees

£20 admin fee plus the current session fee will be charged.  E.g. if a child is picked up late after a morning session, there is an admin fee of £20 plus the afternoon session fee of £28.15 (for nursery classes) or £35.75 (for the under 3s) totalling £48.15 or £55.75 respectively.

 

Fees are payable monthly in advance by the 1st of the month the sessions are taken.

Payments can be made at the school office by cash, cheque or childcare vouchers.   Alternatively you can pay via BACs transfer using the following bank details:

When making online and voucher payments, it is very important to remember the following:

Please help Bristol City Council’s CYPS Finance team to allocate your payments to reduce the outstanding balance on your account by:-

  1. Entering your unique account number (this consists of 6 numbers and is located at the bottom of your invoice, on the left)
  2. Entering the full invoice number (this begins 1011500 and is located at the bottom of your invoice, on the right)

 

Failure to provide sufficient information could cause incorrect allocations to be made, which could falsely indicate that you have a large outstanding debt which we will be obliged to chase.
